Painting, But Not The Walls!

Have you noticed when you look at a room in your home you see a different color in your mind's eye? But when you paint it, it isn't what you seen? It's just not the same as you pictured it?
Well that is kind of like when you go to paint a picture. The same thing happens to me. Anyone out there with that problem?

I have painted with oils, watercolor, and acrylics. And every once in a while a picture would come to mind to paint. But when I am done, my mind had taken over my hand and I painted a major different painting! I enjoy painting because it takes me somewhere else. I am not going to claim that I am an expert at painting, but I will claim that you don't have to be an expert to paint.

Art is art. Some may think that Exhibit A1 painting is better than Exhibit A2. But then the others my think A2 painting is better than A1 painting. Do I make sense? No? Lets put it this way. Everyone has different taste. Where one child loves strawberry ice cream, the other child loves peaches n cream ice cream. It depends upon the individuals taste.

So everyone is a painter, its just the audience whom they will paint for. So go buy some paints, brushes, paint boards or paper and get busy! Opps, don't forget the music.
